This artisane boulangère is the only woman to win the Prix d'Excellence Relais Desserts, which she achieved in 2018. Her two Parisian shops, located on the Rue du Bac and the Boulevard Pasteur, are where you can taste Claire's gourmet creations.
Du Pain et des Idées
Du Pain et des Idées recreates the authenticity of the French boulangerie of yesteryear. Located at 35 Rue Yves Toudic, it’s run by Christophe Vasseur. A business school graduate, he became a baker quite late, but with enough commitment to be voted the best in Paris. Charmingly rustic décor and truly superb bread. Unmissable!
Liberté
The Liberté boulangerie was originally located at 39 Rue des Vinaigriers, in a building dating from the late 19th century, and which since then has always been occupied by a bakery. A second shop can be found in the 17th arrondissement. Upon entering, you’ll be struck by the modern and almost industrial style of the place. Check it out and discover the best lemon tarts in Paris, and the Liberté bread, which is out of this world.
