Edouard Wolton
Born in 1986, Edouard Wolton is a French artist who lives and works in Paris. His work spans painting, printmaking, and installations, focusing on the representation of Landscape and forms of nature. In a dialogue between a poetic approach and references to the history of art and its multiple iconographies, Edouard Wolton’s work embraces a theorized vision of idealized Nature. His work has been the subject of numerous solo exhibitions in Paris and internationally, between museums and galleries. Recently, he created a painted fresco commissioned by the JOLI restaurant at the Carnavalet Museum.
Furthermore, he coordinates several projects related to the field of art publishing, such as the PRINTJAM collective (based in Leipzig since 2013), the Paris Peinture Plus exhibitions, and the PRINTTEMPS exhibitions at the Fiminco Foundation in Romainville, where he directs the printmaking workshop.
