WHEN ART INVITES ITSELF TO THE HOTEL

The Danube Hotel has hosted many artists throughout its history.

Located in the heart of the Saint Germain des Prés gallery district, in close proximity to the most prominent Parisian museums and the National School of Fine Arts, the hotel has always maintained close ties with various artistic practices.
Each year, the Danube Hotel becomes the stage for a unique encounter between art and hospitality.
We welcome an artist in residence, invited to take over one of our walls and freely express their vision. This project leads to an exhibition open to everyone, highlighted by a warm opening night.
A poetic way to invite art into the heart of your stay and to bring our walls to life with the rhythm of contemporary creation.

Taline Zabounian

Taline Zabounian is a French painter born in 1986. She lives in Paris and works in Ivry-sur-Seine.

Taline Zabounian views painting as a game in which she creates her own rules, connected with the digital world and digital image; printed, replicable. Her desire: to materialize the immaterial, to give it a soul. She thus draws and creates unique forms that will become patterns on the canvas. Through superimposition, distortion, and repetition, she plays with our perceptions, making ghostly pareidolia appear at the turn of a damaged weave, enigmatic witnesses of our time.

A graduate of the Beaux-Arts de Paris in 2010, Taline Zabounian has undertaken numerous residencies and exhibitions in France and internationally.
