Taline Zabounian

Taline Zabounian is a French painter born in 1986. She lives in Paris and works in Ivry-sur-Seine.

Taline Zabounian views painting as a game in which she creates her own rules, connected with the digital world and digital image; printed, replicable. Her desire: to materialize the immaterial, to give it a soul. She thus draws and creates unique forms that will become patterns on the canvas. Through superimposition, distortion, and repetition, she plays with our perceptions, making ghostly pareidolia appear at the turn of a damaged weave, enigmatic witnesses of our time.

A graduate of the Beaux-Arts de Paris in 2010, Taline Zabounian has undertaken numerous residencies and exhibitions in France and internationally.
