Room 40
Pierre Roy Camille
The personal history of the artist, shared between Paris and Martinique, has brought forth in his work a tropical universe both naturalist and fantastical, where Nature reigns.
A powerful, complete, radical imagery, delicately and poetically infiltrated to subtly recount the nostalgia of childhood and lost paradises. Full of illusions and daydreams, the work of Pierre Roy Camille is an invitation to imaginary travel.
The artist chose to contribute to room 40, whose fuchsia wallpaper, published by Designers Guild, and Indian-inspired furniture inspired the fresco created on site.
