The quays transformed
On the occasion of Paris Plages, between July 8th and September 3rd, the Right Bank quays between the Pont de Sully and the Pont des Arts are completely transformed into a summer resort. Palm trees, deckchairs and parasols are installed on the grassy areas. Giant games and table football as well as sandy spaces and areas dedicated to workshops await the children. And mist sprays offer the opportunity to cool off even on the hottest days.
Swimming at La Villette
For water sports and recreation, head to the north of Paris and the Grand Bassin de la Villette. This vast open-air space hosts all the water-based Paris Plages activities. You will find several swimming pools, as well as paddling pools so that the little ones can have fun with water in complete safety. The main body of the Grand Bassin invites you to try your hand at paddleboarding, canoeing, pedal boating and Polynesian canoeing. A wonderful way to spend refreshing days by the cool water... Or you can head to the Jardins du Trocadéro, where various sports workshops are offered within the framework of Paris Plages and the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.
