Each December for 23 years, the Boulevard Saint-Germain has hosted a Christmas market near the Church of Saint-Germain-des-Prés. Quality craftsmanship, catering chalets, family entertainment… It’s all here and ready to get you into the Christmas spirit. A five-minute walk from the Hôtel du Danube, you can treat yourself to some browsing, shopping, and snacking in the festive heart of Paris…
An exceptional setting
From December 3rd, 2022, to January 8th, 2023, the Marché de Noël de Saint-Germain-des-Prés will sprinkle Yuletide magic along the boulevard. Christmas illuminations and small decorated wooden chalets all add to the festive atmosphere of this traditional market where the participants are carefully selected. They offer quality handicrafts, creations and works of art. Of course, purveyors of fine food will also be present to tempt you with such irresistible seasonal indulgences as caviar, foie gras, chocolates, and much more. The market is open each day from 11:00 to 20:00.
Market browsing and snacking
While the Marché de Noël de Saint-Germain-des-Prés is the ideal place to find original gift ideas, it also offers a great opportunity to treat yourself. The market boasts several catering chalets; all, of course, having a Christmas theme. There’s a chalet offering Christmas brioches and French toast, inviting you to experience once again the flavours of childhood. You will also find a hot and cold drinks stand, and it’s all prepared on the spot. Finally, many activities are in place for children, such as the essential opportunity to meet Father Christmas on 23rd, 24th and 25th December.
During your stay at the Hôtel du Danube this December, discover the magic and elegance of the Marché de Noël de Saint-Germain-des-Prés. If you’re on the lookout for good gift ideas or just a charming stroll in an enchanting setting, head to the Boulevard Saint-Germain between 11:00 and 20:00!
